Numerous other details have also been improved (also for other ARA and non-ARA DAWs), so the free update is recommended to all Melodyne 4 users. They tell us that ,with both apps using ARA technology, Melodyne can be used more seamlessly as part of the Logic workflow. Nobody seemed to know what it was then either.Celemony has announced Melodyne 4.2 which introduces tighter integration with Logic Pro X 10.4.2. But I Google the problem and found reference to something similar from 2012 (I believe it was in logic 9 even).

I also thought it might be some new Mojave thing since it seems like more and more ios features are making their way into Mac os (and this is the kind of prompt I remember getting a lot when I used an iPhone). I just thought maybe it was a common, normal thing but maybe not. I also don't use any of those social media platforms so if that's it then it wouldn't really apply to me.Įither way it's no big deal. That's good advice about the celemony account settings so I'll check that out. I don't do much of anything with all the "social media stuff" and never signup/endorse/etc on those platforms.that may be the difference.hth./s~Thanks for the response.

So you may want to check your account settings on the official Celemony website, a while back they dropped their "b.board" and seemed to have moved to FB/etc as the means of keeping in touch with their user base. thanx for the update/info.I've followed pretty much the same path, the downloads have always been directly from Celemony. I don't know if that wise in general but I never do that. I didn't uninstall the previous version or anything like that. From what I read on the celemony site, that seems to be the standard way to do it. Oh and I updated melodyne by just downloading and running the latest installer. It was just kind of strange and I was curious what the significance is. Anyway, I clicked deny and so far I haven't noticed any problems. I was wondering if it had something to do with authorization or something like that. I have never seen it before so that's why I attributed it to the melodyne update. Right after the update, when I launched logic, that prompt appeared. I had opened logic just before the update and there was no prompt.

I just updated Melodyne editor from I believe it was 3.something to 4.2. Where/how did you update melodyne?I'm on the latest OS (10.14.2) and the latest logic version (10.4.3). without more information about your system config/etc, it will be hard to offer any useful advice, other than to say on this system I've never/ever seen/gotten a request like that. The song I'm having issues with was started in an earlier version of Logic. I've only tested a little but it seems that a project begun in Logic 10.4.3 is working as expected.

It's like having the full studio version inside a plugin inside Logic.įlex.I use to shift rhythmic stuff, it seems to cope well, but on melodic tracks I've never been able to not get glitches at some point except on bass guitar, which always seems to work just fine for me.

Plus they've added the ability to see and edit all the files inside one plugin window and that's very useful and speeds things up immensely with things like lining up backing vocals. I have a workaround, it'll do for now, and like you I often never go back once I've tweaked a piece. I can’t believe that this feature remains so troubled.Yeah it's kind of annoying and yet.life is too short to let stupid crap get in the way. I was using Melodyne on its own without issues a decade ago, and the whole reason that I migrated to logic in the first place, was to have integrated pitch control via flex. So I guess I’ll just plug my nose and try both and see which is glitchier. I haven’t made substantial efforts in flex pitch for over a year, and at that time I was having terrible trouble’s with artefacts. Even though I find the number of times that I actually do go back and re-tweek after tuning is fairly low.
